Fernando de Noronha
Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean, northeast of the capital of Pernambuco, Recife, with golden sands, turquoise and emerald sea, corals, splendid marine life, forest and rock formations. The main island is 17,017 km² and is 543 km from the capital of Pernambuco.
After a campaign led by the environmentalist gaúcho José Truda Palazzo Jr., on October 14, 1988 most of the archipelago was declared National Park, with about 11,270 ha, 6 for the protection of the existing endemic species and the area of concentration of the rotating dolphins (Stenella longirostris), which meet daily at Dolphin Bay - the most regular observation spot of the species on the planet, which come close to the boats and perform acrobatic shows.
Accessible by plane or ship, Fernando de Noronha is not a cheap destination - all the products available in the archipelago come from the mainland, which raises prices from bread to gasoline plus the stay rate, which is not very cheap.
The island has tight control over the entrance of people on the Island, since only 240 people can stay overnight in the archipelago at the same time.

Tourism
The main island is small, it is only 17 square kilometers, which makes it possible to break through the territory and have postcards such as the Dois Irmãos and Pico hills, and the beaches of Sancho Bay, Bahia de Pinos and Leão. these are among the ten most beautiful in Brazil.
With the beaches divided in sea from the inside and sea from outside, it is easy to coordinate the plethora of attractions and activities. It has paths for good walks, kayaking, boat trips and buggy, dolphin watching, but especially diving with a bottle is one of the sports not to be missed.
For those who do not face the descent even as baptism - diving accompanied by an instructor at a depth of 15 meters - a mask and snorkel is enough to have fun and be enchanted with the beauties hidden in the natural pools of Atalaia, which go far beyond the little fish and the colorful corals - turtles and stingrays give the air of grace and swim side by side with visitors.
Surfers also have a party in Noronha. From December to March, the island's beaches get perfect waves ranging from two to five meters.

Gastronomy
In spite of being small, the archipelago is also rich in a gastronomy of growing mouth water, such as the long list of delicacies such as fish in banana leaf, sun meat empanada in cheese curd, farofa of foot of kid, the dumplings of tubal (the fish is salty, as in the cod process, hence the name), moquecas and sardinhas fritas in perfect conjunction with the typical fruits of the Northeast, with the dear meat of the sun, the farofa of water and the seafood.
The cuisine of the archipelago already combines simplicity and technique to conquer the gourmet who goes in search of something beyond the sun and some of the meals can be made with a stunning view.
It is almost impossible to enjoy the many gastronomic options in a traditional travel itinerary in five days.

Weather
There are two predominant seasons: the drought, which runs from September to February and the rainy season, with occasional rainfall, from March to August. The temperature has little variation during the year, maintaining an average of 28ºC, with much sun and a refreshing breeze.
Tips
Predominantly they are the most used summer clothes, although it is advisable to have a sweater near by.
To go to the water, in addition to the appropriate clothes, a mask, snorkel, fins and a t-shirt, preferably Lycra, to dive and surf without getting roasted by the sun.
In Noronha it is common to get burned without realizing it, because the breeze and the water cool the body, making that the solar action is not noticed.
Do not skimp with sunscreens and moisturizers, light hat or cap and sunglasses. Protect your feet: take a couple of walking shoes through the island's interior and beach slippers to walk between the beaches.
