In this property of oblong plant stands the Clock Tower, a square section structure, four-roofed roof and equal number of eyes, inside that are two cast bronze bells, which served to warn the population of the vereations and audiences to in this building.
The two-story façade has windows and doorways with straight jambs and lintels, with the exception of the door lintel that allows access to the curved top floor. To top this entry we have the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Portugal in marble, having underneath palm embossed relief and the date of 1787 (date of the works done here).
This property, besides the vereações, that had to be realized in the second floor in one of the two divisions in rectangular plan with ceiling in wooden box, would also house the judgments of infractions committed in the limits of the county. The convicts were then arrested in the small divisions and separated by sex, with the male cell on the ground floor and the female cell on the first floor.
From 1855, the date on which the municipal autonomy of this town ended, the Town Council of Santa Maria was located here. [...]

Today, in this property, on the ground floor, is the local Tourist Office, which is managed by the Parish Council of Evoramonte.
