Schlossblick
The beautiful historic centre of Wernigerode consists of an idyllic
combination of traditional half timbered houses from the middle ages,
an imposing castle, a distinctive town hall and a beautiful
cobblestone square through which you wander back in time In addition,
the town is located on the edge of the beautiful Harz, and there are
many hiking paths and signs for young and old. The nature love will
find thick forests in the national park (laid out around the 1100
meter high Brocken), and expansive hiking paths, while you can visit
the caves in Ruebeland with the kids or take a ride on the small
gauge railways which traverse the region. You will inhabit a 3 person
holiday residence (45m) on the second floor of this characteristic
half timbered house dating from 1863. From the residence you can see
the castle, and because the house is located in the centre, you can
step right into the historic town centre.
The gallery bedroom is reached via fairly steep stairs and is not
separated with a door. Due to the low altitude, it's best suitable
for children.
