Its façade is quite striking for the stonework roofs. In the main altarpiece you can see El Sagrario and the image of the Virgen de las Mercedes. One of the most important attractions of this colonial structure is its library, considered an American jewel both for its beauty and the historical value of the books it maintains; Some date from the 16th century. The convent has a courtyard of 29 meters on each side and is enclosed by galleries on two floors. In the center there is a swimming pool crowned by King Neptune and surrounded by dolphins.
