Natal
Natal, is the capital and largest city of Rio Grande do Norte, a state in northeastern Brazil.
The implementation of the Coastal Highway, a 10 km (6.2 mi) long avenue along the coast and the dunes, was the true starting point for the start of tourist activity in the state in 1980. This is where major hotels of the capital, Natal, are concentrated.
The city also has the second largest urban park in Brazil, Parque das Dunas.
It is also the capital of Brazil closer to Africa and Europe, and the Augusto Severo International Airport, which connects Natal to many Brazilian cities and also operates international flights.

Tourism
The city of Natal has several tourist attractions and is famous for its natural beauties (such as the crystalline waters of Maracajaú and the largest cashew tree in the world), its monuments and historical buildings (such as the Forte dos Reis Magos, the Alberto Maranhão Theater and bridge Newton Navarro), for its beaches (like Ponta Negra, Genipabu and Pipa) and also for its carnival out of season, the "Carnatal".
Steeped in sunlight and surrounded by towering sand dunes, the city of Natal is on the edge of Northeastern Brazil closer to Europe.
The capital of Rio Grande do Norte is one of the most attractive centers of the Brazilian coastline - in addition to having many attractions of its own, the city is its gateway to the state's intriguing coastline, which boasts of pearls such as Tibau do Sul, Praia da Pipa.
The long beaches of the city of Natal are clean, the nightlife and events are fun - especially "Carnatal", the off-season Carnival - and good hotels attract families with children, couples and singles looking for a romantic getaway.
The city is a great place for pre-teens and teenagers, who can enjoy surfing, kite surfing and diving.
Buggy rides are a current activity. One of the most attractive tours is to go north of Genipabu, with incredible sand dunes and transparent lagoons.
To the south one enters the territory of the dolphins, because the beach of Pipa, 85 km to the south, is one of the main dolphin observation destinations in Brazil.

Gastronomy
To enjoy all the benefits that the city offers nothing like tasting the delicacies present in the local culture.
Normally, breakfast and dinner are light, and lunch is the main meal. In addition to cassava, include black beans, white beans and rice.
Many dishes are designed to be shared.
The typical seafood offers three different dishes of shrimp, mussels, crabs, stuffed oysters and gratin, and fish fillets, followed by a main course of fish in the shrimp sauce with pirão, then the dessert.
In addition to BBQ (particularly roasted meat) - and good value - is the "per kilo" lunch buffet, where you usually select from a wide range of hot and cold dishes (which may include lobster, beef carpaccio, shrimp , eggs, pasta dishes and various salads), and the payment is made by weight.
