The palace of the Coimbras, built in the fifteenth century as a residence for ecclesiastics, had been acquired by D. João de Coimbra, provisor of the Miter of Braga.
The house of the Coimbras, has the windows and some of the doors of the old mansion, although the format of the Manueline building has been changed.
Currently in the House of Coimbras is installed a pole of the Mario Sequeira Gallery.
Located in the historical center of Braga, Portugal.
The set Chapel and House of Coimbras is a Manueline style National Monument.
