Historic tree. In December 1882, in the shade of a tree, the courageous pioneer Neutel Maia encamped. Today, more than a century later, the gameleira is a leafy tree with more than 2,5m of diameter in the trunk, with 20m of height and, with the sun at the bottom, its shade has around 30 meters of diameter.
