The Ex Aduana building was built in 1871. At that time of the Peruvian administration it was known as the Rimac Palace. Currently it is an events center that is administered by the municipality of Iquique, which during 1003 carried out a remodeling process on its façade and the first floor of the centennial building.

By plane

By car

It can be accessed by the Pan-American Highway from the south or north. From the north the closest city is Arica, which is 307 km away. From the south, the entrance door is through Calama, 389 km. away.
