Installato nel centro storico del villaggio, ha sostituito la chiesa più modesta che l'ha preceduta, essendo costruita in linee moderne e attraenti. Il suo ampio interno, pesantemente decorato con motivi religiosi, ha il suo periodo di massimo splendore sull'altare dorato pesantemente lavorato. Il suo orago è S. Silvestre e, sebbene risalga al 1882, fu terminato solo nel 1921, con la costruzione della Torre Sineira.
