Founded in 1586 by Father Francisco Gonçalves.

The chapel has a magnificent baroque carving executed by Lamecense artists from the end of the 19th century. XVII and early 17th century. XVIII.

Location: at the northern end of the city, (Rua do Cerdeiral).

At the main altar there is an archaic and unusual image of Our Lady of Hope, a valuable polychrome sculpture of Ançâ stone, carved between the 15th and 16th centuries.

It also has a precious sculpture in upholstered wood from the Lord of the Green Cane or "Ecce Homo" (17th century). The walls are lined with beautiful 19th century tiles. XVII.
