The Calle-Calle de Chile river begins in the city of Los Lagos and ends in the city of Valdivia.

Before Los Lagos, the river is called San Pedro.

Calle-Calle collects water from several lakes. This makes your levels very stable. Even so, it flooded sectors of Valdivia several times, as in 1960.

The river basin runs from Corral Bay to San Martin de los Andes.

The lakes of the basin are nine: Lacar and Nonthue in Argentina, Pirihueico, Neltume, Calafquen, Pullinque, Panguipulli and Riñihue.

From this rises the San Pedro River. Its name comes from mapudungun, which means iridaceous plant (Libertia ixides and others). Their repetition means abundance of these flowers.
