Bayhaven Lodge was an original whalers cottage from the 1930’s which has been restored and renovated with a modern tropical design, and featuring modern interiors with artworks by local artists. The guesthouse is only a 150 metre walk to the centre of town, and the property is adjacent to one of Byron’s most famous surfing breaks, The Wreck. WiFi is available on site.
The rooms have a classic charm with original high ceilings and are well furnished with en suites, air conditioners, ceiling fans, LCD TV, one queen-sized bed, tea and coffee facilities, hanging space, drawers and shelving for storage.
There are many recreational activities such as surfing and snorkeling available within a 5-minute walk from the guesthouse. It is 1.9 km from Captain Cook Lookout and within 5 km of Wategos Beach and Cape Byron Lighthouse, as well as Tallow Beach and Byron Bay Golf Course. The property is 30 minutes' drive to Byron/Ballina Airport and 45 minutes' drive from Coolangatta International Airport.
