Salisbury Cathedral (1 mile/ 1.6 km)- this medieval cathedral is home to the tallest church spire in the UK (404 feet/ 123 metres), the largest cloister in England and one of 4 surviving original copies of the Magna Carta.

Longleat (27.4 miles/ 44 km)- the house of Lord Bath, widely regarded as the best example of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain. Alternatively, the whole family will enjoy the safari park, home to over 500 animals.

Bath (42.1 miles/ 67.8 km)- the city of Georgian stone crescents, founded around the only naturally occurring hot springs in the UK.
