Preparation

Place the meat in a pot along with the jerky, the leek, turnip and celery. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook until the meat is tender. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onion, chili and garlic. Stir until tender. Add the meat broth and bring to a boil. Add the cabbage, lima beans, carrots and potatoes, toast the wheat and grind it. Dissolve the ground wheat in a little water and add it to the broth, stirring constantly, to prevent lumps from forming. Let it boil for approximately 10 minutes. Rectify the seasoning and before serving add the mint and oregano.
