Preparation

Place the carrots in a pan with cold water and add the sugar, cooking over a very low heat and stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. When it is almost ready, add the chopped almonds and let it continue over low heat. When it is very thick, perfume with orange water. Allow to cool and place in glasses or jars for a rest of two days or more.

  • 2 teaspoons of orange blossom water
  • 1 kilo of grated raw carrots
  • 250 grams of clean almonds
  • 50 grams of nuts
  • 1 kilo of sugar
