Preparation

Boil the rice with water and salt, cinnamon, cardamungo and coconut milk.
Reduce heat and simmer slowly for 20 minutes. Turn the rice slightly with a fork to loosen it.
Cover the pan and leave it to heat for ten minutes.
Cut half of the papaya and crush it. Pour the crushed papaya and the other half cut into pieces in the rice and stir. Serve hot.

  • 1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and cut into pieces
