Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a large container, preferably made of copper or aluminum, and cook it over high heat, stirring with a wooden spoon so that it does not stick.
When it takes color (light brown) and is thickening, lower the heat to a minimum and continue cooking, taking the precaution of stirring it from time to time so that it does not burn and does not stick. once it is ready (it does not run) it is removed from the fire.
Place the container over cold water and continue stirring for a while, this makes the sweet thicken even more.
let cool, and once cold it can be stored in glass jars with a lid and can be stored in the refrigerator.
It can be used to fill cakes or crepes, accompany custards or fruit salads, or eat it only if you have a sweet tooth.
