Otani Sanso offers public hot-spring baths, relaxing saunas and free Wi-Fi at the public areas. Guests can request massages and facials for an extra cost and enjoy watching the night sky from the on-site astronomical observatory. A free shuttle is available from JR Nagato Yumoto Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking.

The air-conditioned rooms feature a TV, a fridge and a safety deposit box. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in rooms with Western beds on carpeted floors. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests and the en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer.

Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool during the summer season and sing their favourite tunes at the karaoke rooms. Local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop and luggage storage is available at the 24-hour front desk.
