Ainsa is the capital of the region Sobarbe and has been declared as ‘National Heritage’. In an excellent location nestled between France, the National Parks Ordesa, Monte Perdido and Sierra de Guara and the Banasque Valley.
The ‘old centre’ of the town is stunning with its clusters of stone houses that blend it perfectly with the surroundings, the tower ‘La Colegiata’ and the large castle and its grounds (almost as bit as the town itself).
You will discover some of the most beautiful landscapes in Southern Europe in the surroundings of the hotel where a whole array of outdoor pursuit such as abseiling, mountain biking, caves and walking along the ‘Romantic Routes’, Ordesa park, lost mountain, Añisclo canyon, Pineta, BBT routes, geologic routes, viewpoints of lakes, cliffs and precipicies. The hotel has a wine cellar built in the 12th century, where the hotel currently sells local and regional wines and delicatessen products.
