Hotel-Pension Waldhaus is an ideal base for exploring the western Harz region’s only mud spa town. Well-marked loop trails begin right outside the hotel, inviting you to go for a hike and enjoy the fresh air.
The beautiful western Harz region offers numerous day trip destinations including Goslar and the Rammelsberg Visitors' Mine, both of which have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are many more former mines and mysterious caves in the area which are waiting to be explored.
