Rainer is a 4-star hotel that has been in the family for 150 years. Set in San Candido, it provides a free shuttle to Monte Elmo ski slopes. Its 200 m² wellness centre has 2 floors of facilities.
Each room features a balcony or terrace with a view of the Dolomites. They have a mix of classic and South Tyrol styles and all include an LCD TV with satellite channels.
Breakfast is buffet style at Hotel & Residence Rainer. It includes sweet and savoury items such as cold meats, cheese and homemade cakes. The restaurant is open at lunch and dinner and serves South Tyrol specialties. It also hosts candlelit dinners and themed evenings.
There are 2 play areas for children, 1 indoors and 1 in the 500 m² garden. Here you will also find an outdoor swimming pool and herb garden. The conference room with widescreen TV is used as a children's cinema in the evening.
The wellness centre includes a Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. Other facilities are a Kneipp hydrotherapy and a reading room with open fireplace. An outdoor natural swimming pond is also featured.
The hotel rents bikes and ski equipment. It has its own ski school and ski pass desk. It is part of the Dolomiti Superski area.
