This mansion is situated in the south-west of Drenthe, only 10 minutes away from Meppel by car. It is set among numerous characteristic farmhouses.
It was built in 1878, as an accommodation for the local practitioner. Here you can stay in style and enjoy the hospitality, the personal attention and the
inspiring surroundings.
The five guest rooms have different ambiance and color but each are stylish and cosy decorated. All rooms have luxury and spacious bathroom. In the neighbourhood there are many cultural and recreational things to do and see. What about a wondrously beautiful cycle route or walk, which will take you through the woody landscape and the typical villages of the area? Or an relaxing round of golf at the nearby golf course? Other possibilities are visiting the oldest monuments of Drenthe, the megalithic tombs, Zoo Emmen, the tree-path of the Forestry Commission or one of the many sculpture gardens and galleries in the vicinity.
