Trabalhado em estilo colonial com forte influência mourisca, é considerado um dos monumentos civis mais significativos da cidade de São Cristóvão. Embora exista predominância da taipa em sua construção, verifica-se a utilização de alvenaria de pedras e tijolo no frontispício e em alguns pilares. Está localizado na Praça São Francisco; e também foi tombado pelo IPHAN.
